I arrived at the Roberts International Airport to a warm greeting from Daniel, Freena, Gabriel, Thomas, and Shallon. Shallon's uncle had kindly offered to pick me up, and after squeezing all my luggage and the seven of us into his small car, we drove to the Jetro Web Development office. They adeptly maneuvered me to be the one opening the office door, upon which I was greeted further by Janet, Mulbah, Dereck, and Jallah, as well as balloons and confetti. It felt great to be received so warmly! Already late, ate together and talked for a few hours before everyone had to head home and I had to go to sleep.

When we got right down to work the next morning, it was soon clear that we needed to improve the Internet connection if Jetro is going to be able to function effectively as a web tech business. We have been discussing the need to get a Starlink connection for almost a year now, and despite my personal loathing for Elon Musk, we spent all day yesterday doing just that (Note: I'm rationalizing that by thinking about capitalists and rope ;-)

It was apparent as soon as the connection was established at 10 pm that we had made the right decision. I had been unable to effectively conduct a video meeting a few hours early due to the lack of bandwidth, only reinforcing the lack of bandwidth = lack of productivity issues from the morning that drove us to our decision to act.

We are now well connected and ready to get down to work!
